If you are new to this website, let me introduce myself. I wrote nearly all the music that appears here. Much of it is intended for absolute beginners, although there are quite a few more demanding pieces as well. I've written and published lots of music for young people and also composed quite a bit of choral music.
Apart from music and education, my interests include reading, the arts, cooking, photography and wine-tasting. I used to enjoy travel, but with three dogs to look after, there's not much opportunity for that!

Running a website does not come cheaply and costs are continually rising. The task of writing these pieces is not done overnight. A typical suite of pieces can involve many hours of working, sending completed pieces to professional teachers for their expert opinion and making subsequent changes to the music. Then pdf files have to be created, and files loaded up to the server. It all takes a huge amount of time. I want to add more pieces to this website and many more at the "easy" end of the scale. However, this is a very time-consuming process, which up to now has been done for no financial returns whatsoever.
For this reason, I am now asking you to make a donation for anything you download. For example, if you download a complete suite of pieces, I am asking you to make a minimum donation of 5 US dollars, 5 UK pounds, or the equivalent in any other currency.
These suggested donations are way below what you'd pay if you bought this music from a music shop.
But honestly, I've got to live as well.
